Zinal, from the Village to the Glacier…
A journey through the history of our ancestors and the beginnings of tourism.
Nestled at the bottom of the Val d'Anniviers, the small village of Zinal will be the starting point of our excursion. History, culture, fauna and flora will serve as the thread of this day's walk.
We'll guide you through the history of our ancestors and the beginnings of tourism in Valais all the way to a high-altitude glacier, a few hours' walk away. You'll learn more about local life — the people, the animals and the plants. The region has unsuspected riches within walking distance!
Enjoy learning new things while treating yourself to a splendid walk in nature.
