Who is Heidi?
After spending her summers at altitude, wandering through fields of flowers, it was only natural that everyone started calling her Heidi. She doesn't practice trail running for the love of competition, but rather because she knows the best blueberry pies are hidden in the heart of the alpine pastures.
Through this project, Heidi wants to create connections and offer unforgettable, fresh emotions filled with simplicity and great human richness, in the heart of one of the most beautiful natural amusement parks — the Alps. Her philosophy is that it is our duty to make life gentle and happy.
On the eve of her 40th birthday, understanding that this fleeting passage here should not be filled with regrets, she wisely decides to take the plunge and bring to life everything she had always sketched in a notebook and that had remained in the drawer labelled: "Maybe one day".
On 21 May 2019, Beeheidi was founded by Sandra Rouiller & Stéphane Berclaz, her business partner but above all her life companion. Beeheidi, a melodic little word paying tribute to Grandpa Happy-culteur.
The team who supports us
Beeheidi has surrounded itself with guides, mountain companions and enthusiasts spread across the canton, chosen for their skills and, above all, for their human qualities, their love of the region and their eagerness to share it.
Genuine lovers of nature and local terroir, they are excellent ambassadors for their region. They know the best alpine pastures for tasting a fruit tart made by grandma, as well as where the finest sérac cheese is crafted. Born with a built-in GPS, they spot the best places to admire a stunning sunrise or sunset and know exactly where to stop for the magic to happen.
Beeheidi also works with various independent providers — mountain guides, outdoor guides, restaurateurs and more. They are all professionals who will give you wonderful experiences and introduce you to unique locations off the beaten track.
Above all, we love sharing our playground and want to help visitors discover it through our eyes, in all simplicity.
